The pioneer in snake & Scorpio venom vaccine researcher, Dr. Himmatrao Bawaskar
will be the guest on Great Bhet this week. He will speak on one of its kind vaccine

Son of poor farmer in Jalna district in Maharashtra, Dr.Bawaskar started his career
in appalling circumstances. Coming from a poor and illiterate family background,
Dr. Bawaskar has risen to become the first Indian vaccine researcher in snake
and Scorpio venom. The much acclaimed doctor will share his life journey on Great
Bhet.
Dr.Bawaskar
will share his experience on the commendable research work done by him. The episode
will also witness the intense moments of Dr. Bawaskar getting nostalgic about
the milestone in his career path. An emotional Bawaskar will also talk about motivational
strength he derived from his family members.
Being the first successful vaccine researcher in the country, Dr. Bawaskar has
published his biography titled ‘Barristercha Kartta’. His research articles
are also published and recognized in ‘LANCET’ – a top Medical Magazine
in the world. The Bawaskar Hospital and Research Center, in Mahad, Raigad District
is also run under his expertise.
