a few. Today the size of the companys iconic brand Dettol is much more than
the size of the company at the time of merger in 1999. 10

Benckiser India was formed in 1999 through the merger between Reckitt & Colman
and Benckiser N.V. Since that time the company has grown from strength to strength
and is one of the fastest growing FMCG companies with 18-20% average annual growth.
