Smita Society Award

Indian Television Dot Com and Project Smita Society have come together
to institute an award for excellence in writing. Called the Indiantelevision.com
Award for Excellence in Writing presented by Project Smita Society,
the award will be given to an individual/organisation who/which has
created a piece of written/visual work that has been pathbreaking in
its choice of subject, its approach and in its treatment . The award
carries a cash component of Rs 25,000 and a trophy which is to be given
away on 21 December at Time & Again to a TV scriptwriter during
the Qalam 2001 Networking party.
