STAR PLUS PROMOTES LOCAL FARE

News Television India has flagged of an ad campaign promoting its local fare. Appearing in the major dailies it has an Indian leaf platter with food arranged on it. The ad extolls hungry viewers to taste Star Plus' new Indian menu and then goes on to list the various locally-produced Hindi and English shows that the channel has on air. The ad helps give what was once a purely English channel a very Indian image. The ad ends with the baseline: Aapki Boli. Aapka Plus Point (Your language. Your Plus Point).
