HINDUJAS DO A DEAL WITH ATN?

The Hinduja-run InduSind Media has denied that it is getting into bed with on-off music channel ATN. Local newspaper reports have time and again hinted that the former is doing a deal with ATN. The channel has been off the air for a year now and Shrivastava has been struggling to find a deep-pocketed partner to inject money into reviving the channel.

Cable operator, Siddhartha Shrivasatava, promoted ATN, the first private Indian satellite TV channel. Shrivastava has, with regularity, fallen foul with his partners or suppliers for non-payment of dues. Russian space agency InterSputnik, media firm, the Modi Entertainment Group, regional language television network, Sun TV, and a Bangladeshi group have had problems with Shrivastava in the past.
