Sun Direct, Samsung tie up to launch HD TV services

Television viewing in India is set to enter the next generation. Twenty-seven years ago when Delhi hosted the Asian Games, India was introduced to colour televisions and now with less than a year to go for the Commonwealth Games, Sun Direct on Monday announced the launch of High Definition (HD) TV services.

Sun Direct HD will be launched with five HD channels along with regular standard definition channels already available through its Sun Direct service.
