NZ telecom launches new Yahoo JV Web site

Telecom Corp. of New Zealand Ltd. Wednesday said it has launched its new joint venture Web site, Yahoo!Xtra, with global Internet giant Yahoo! Inc. and Australia's Seven Network , designed to beef up content at its flagship Internet portal Xtra.

Telecom, New Zealand's biggest listed company, signed a deal with Yahoo! and Seven in December, to replace its existing XtraMSN site, an alliance with Microsoft Corp.
