Indonesia's IM2 To Invest US$30 MLN In Cable TV Project

JAKARTA, Asia Pulse - PT Indosat Mega Media (IM2) said it will cooperate with South Korea's telecommunications company Axess Mega Media (AM2) to build cable TV networks in Indonesia.

IM2 President Brata Hardjosubroto said the cable TV project using hybrid fiber coaxial (HFC) will cost around US$30 million over three years.Brata said his company has signed a contract with the Korean company to start work in January, 2005 to have links with 200 households in the Greater Jakarta.
