TRAI tariff order: Regulator finds 6 DPOs flouting rules, sets 5-day deadline for compliance

Telecom Regulatory Authority of India (TRAI) on Tuesday directed six distribution platform operators (DPOs) to comply with all provisions of its new tariff order for the broadcast and cable services sectors within five days.

Netflix adds record 9.6 mn subs in Q1 2019
Streaming giant Netflix beat analyst estimates in its first quarter earnings and added record number of subscribers. The streaming platform reported paid net additions of 9.6 million in Q1 2019, up 16 per cent year-on-year (y-o-y). In terms of revenue also, it reported $4.52 billion in revenue in the quarter, higher than projected.
