Disney India reveals new TV channel prices

One by one, broadcasters are announcing their new channel rates as per TRAI's tariff requirements. The latest to join the bandwagon is Disney Broadcasting (India) Ltd. Its reference interconnect offer (RIO) will be effective from 29 December 2018.

Dream11 gets funding of Rs 719 crore from Tencent Holdings
Chinese social media and gaming giant Tencent Holdings has invested $100 million (around INR 719 crore) in Mumbai-based Dream 11 Fantasy according to VCCircle. Dream11 had been in advanced stages of discussion with Tencent about raising funds from the Chinese behemoth since April 2018.

Zee Anmol retained its first position in Broadcast Audience Research Council (BARC) data for week 35 of 2018 in the Hindi GEC (U+R) market. Big Magic and Zee TV swapped their seventh and eighth positions in the rural market, whereas Star Plus and Colors retained their first and second positions in the urban market this week.
