Himalaya MEN announces Virat Kohli and Rishabh Pant as new brand ambassadors

MUMBAI: The Himalaya Drug Company has signed cricketers Virat Kohli and Rishabh Pant as its official brand amabassadors for ‘Himalaya MEN Face Care Range’. The association with real-life heroes (and hence sports as an arena) extends back to the last few years, in line with Himalaya’s commitment of being a wellness partner to every consumer.

 In their first commercial for the brand, both Kohli and Pant will be seen rapping to the latest proposition by Himalaya MEN, “Looking Good…And Loving It”.

The Himalaya Drug Company business head - consumer products division Rajesh Krishnamurthy said, “With male grooming emerging as one of the fastest growing sectors in India’s Personal Care segment, Himalaya MEN will play an important role in the new trend of looking good. The concept of “Looking Good…And Loving It” brings to life a unique amalgamation of style as well as the brand vision of “Wellness in Every Home and Happiness in Every Heart”. Being role models, both Virat and Rishabh, were our first choice. They perfectly symbolise the brand’s promise to make every young man look good and feel confident.” 

The Himalaya Drug Company associate general manager - consumer products division Ashwani Gandhi said, “Good grooming is believed to be the first step towards boosting self-confidence. This, coupled with an increased purchasing power, is propelling young men to seek grooming solutions which are exclusively customised for them and complement their personalities too. Himalaya MEN is well-entrenched as the go-to grooming brand by offering Face Care, Hair Care, and Beard Care products in the men’s grooming segment. Our intent through this campaign is to leverage upon the connect that Virat and Rishabh have with these young men and establish ourselves as an integral part of every man’s personal care ritual.” 

Commenting on the association, Indian Cricket Team captain Virat Kohli said, “I am very excited to be a part of Team Himalaya and be the ambassador for their Men’s Face Wash range. Himalaya MEN’s grooming range comprises of an elaborate herbal range of pimple care, oil clear, and active sport face washes, an array of hair styling gels, and a niche face and beard wash. The entire range is available across retail stores in India as well as leading e-commerce stores like Amazon, Flipkart, and Nykaa.
