MUMBAI: Star Plus is going aggressive on-ground to promote a wedding sequence in one of its leading fiction properties ‘Ek Hazaaron Mein Meri Behna Hai‘.

The show‘s lead protagonists ‘Maanvi‘ and ‘Viraat‘ are getting married in October and the channel is conducting below-the-line activities to "celebrate" it.

According to the channel, the idea behind these activities is for viewers across India to give the couple their best wishes. The best messages selected by ‘Maanvi‘ will get a chance to be a part of the wedding.

Star Plus has charted out a 13-city plan that will be conducted till 7 October across Delhi and UP to Maharashtra. During this on-ground activity, special Maanvi-and-Viraat wedding floats will travel across these cities, announcing the wedding, interacting with viewers and collecting their best wishes for the couple.

Viewers will be asked to write personalised messages for the "to-be-wed" couple on greetings cards. A day before the wedding, these greeting cards will be unveiled in front of the couple in an event and the best messages will get to attend the wedding.
