Ruposhi Bangla dons new look

MUMBAI: Bengali entertainment channel Ruposhi Bangla has unveiled a brand new logo and a new tagline -‘Khushi Mon Sarakkhon‘ - promising to make everyone‘s heart leap in joy, after three and a half years of existence.

The new tagline, composed into a song, has been visualised on screen and presented by several artists from various Ruposhi Bangla programmes.

To match the spirit of the new look and the promises of "Khushi Mon Sarakkhon‘‘, the channel has undertaken several new initiatives on the content front.

Dhana Dhanne Pushpe Bhora, a popular Bengali composition of patriotic fervour by Dwijendralal Roy, has been retouched with a fresh new approach by composer Debojyoti Mishra. Along with him is Amar Sen, rendering visuals to this composition.

Ruposhi‘s new thrust on content is all about more entertainment, more colour and more entertainment. The channel has launched a number of shows in January like talk show ‘Gaan Golpo Arr Gaan‘, ‘Kolir Gopal Bhanr‘, ‘Shonarpur Local‘ and ‘Khelaghar‘ in February.

The channel is all set to launch ‘Potol Dangar Tenida‘ on 11 February. It will air Monday to Friday at 10 pm. The Tenida, a popular character of author Narayan Gangopadhyay‘s creation, is all set to come alive on the small screen.

The channel is undertaking a 360 degree marketing approach to reach all categories of people, through hoarding, press ad, radio, television and social networking sites.
