Reshuffle in GEC order, Zee TV climbs back to No.2

MUMBAI: Hindi general entertainment genre has seen some shuffling among the top players in the week ended 2 June. Though, the genre leader Star Plus continues to be on top, the second, third and fourth spot in the GEC space has seen reshuffle.

As per TAM data (C&S, 4+, HSM), Zee TV added 15 GRPs to register 233 GRPs during the week. Its dancing reality show, ?DID lil Master 2?, continues to do well and has clocked 5.03 TVR this week. The dance reality show has been continuously performing since its launch, despite IPL in previous four weeks. Zee TV?s fiction show ?Punarvivah? is also garnering good numbers and has recorded a 3.11 TVR.

Colors has added 20 GRPs to its last week tally. Its latest fiction show Madhubala opened with a 2.8 TVR on Monday, which was aired for an hour. Balika Vadhu rated 3.57 TVR, while Uttaran, an addition in top 10 shows list clocked 3.18 TVR.
