MUMBAI: Karunendra Mathur, who floated his own integrated advertising agency earlier this month, has already got five clients on board. The list includes Liberty Shoes, Spectrum Paint, Technical Associates, Headstart International and Solo Stationery and Accessories.

The Page, started after advertising veteran Mathur quit the Delhi-based advertising agency Montage which he co-founded along with Amit Mukherjee and Arun Goswami 20 years back, will offer services across media.

Mathur said, "I do not wish to dwell on the past and would now like to focus my energies on The Page. It is a new challenge. As the name suggests, The Page denotes a clean slate which will enable us to come up with new ideas and work on new strategies."

The team at The Page consists of 14 people. "At present, the focus is on settling down and consolidating the business over the next three months. Once that is achieved, we will surely look at expanding our network and team," avers Mathur.

Mathur has been in the advertising industry for close to three decades now. He started his career with Clea Communications as a trainee and exited the company eight years later as an account supervisor. He then joined Chaitra before starting Montage in 1992.

He has worked with brands including Singer sewing machine, Uncle Chipps, Outlook Hindi, Outlook Business, Outlook Money Weston Electronics, Amrit Basmati Rice, Liberty Whiteware, Kenwood, Brushman India, Neelkanth Town Planners, Inalsa Home Appliances and Welga Foods. He was also involved in launching global haircare brand Toni and Guy in India.
