MUMBAI:
Ogilvy & Mather Worldwide has been appointed as the global communications
partner of package delivery giant United Parcel Service, commonly referred to
as UPS.
O&M won the
account following a multi-agency pitch which narrowed down the choices from eight
global networks over a six month period.
Says Ogilvy &
Mather Worldwide CEO Miles Young, "UPS set a very high bar for this decision,
which is of considerable strategic importance for them. We won on the basis of
some outstanding thinking and with a truly global effort."
