MUMBAI: Zicom Electronic Security Systems, an electronic security systems provider, has roped in M&C Saatchi Communications, the Indian outfit of the UK-based advertising agency, as its strategic and creative communications partner.

The size of the account is estimated to be in the region of Rs 80 - 100 million.

Says Zicom MD Pramoud Rao, "I was impressed with M&C Saatchi's ability to provide business-building ideas. Zicom was looking for a partner that could add value to our recently upgraded retail thrust and provide a holistic communication solution to help meet our business objectives. I felt that M&C Saatchi has the same entrepreneurial spirit as Zicom and is willing to go the extra mile in co-creating success."

M&C Saatchi will work on Zicom's corporate brands along with its specific product category while a major thrust will remain on retail.

Says M&C Saatchi executive director Rajiv Sabnis, "We are excited to have the opportunity to work with an expanding company like Zicom and in a category that is waiting to explode."
