MUMBAI:
Viacom18’s Hindi general entertainment channel (GEC) Colors has allotted
its media duties to Maxus.
The
account size is pegged at Rs 500-600 million.
TME was earlier
handling the account of Colors since its launch last year.
Says Maxus MD Ajit
Varghese, “We have bagged the media duties of Colors. There was no pitch,
just that Colors was looking for a change and we fell in at the right time.”
As
per sources close to the development, Colors management was reviewing its media
duties and valuating on TME’s performance. "They wanted to change the
agency," sources said.
