NEW DELHI: CavinKare has roped in Bollywood actress Genelia D’Souza as brand ambassador for Spinz range of talc and deodorant.

D’Souza replaces actress Asin of Ghajini fame.

The company has positioned Spinz as a youth brand which caters to the young consumers between 15 to 26 years old. CavinKare has also repackaged Spinz talc.

CavinKare vice-president-Marketing Vineet Trakroo said, “Spinz is the fastest growing brand which has been making a 45 per cent growth year on year. To grow faster, we felt that there is need for a youth icon who could connect with the youth. We expect our market share to double in the next two years. We feel Genelia represents a bubbly, young, energetic youth image. She is a good brand fit as has been researched and matches the image of the brand.”

As part of the agreement, D’Souza will be involved in communicating the brand values of the company through multi-media campaigns and new pack creatives.
