MUMBAI: Cadbury has launched a television commercial (TVC) with its new brand ambassador Genelia D'Souza to introduce the new Perk Poppers.

Targeted at the same Perk consumers (teens and kids), Perk Poppers offers them chocolate in a different format with a different center.

The TVC has been conceptualised by Ogilvy & Mather Advertising which includes executive creative director Anup Chitnis, creative director Anuraag Khandelwal and associate creative director Satish D'sa.

Cadbury director (marketing) Sanjay Purohit said, "The all new Perk Poppers seeks to combine buyer insights with the product benefits in an appealing & modern style. D'Souza embodies youthfulness and brand connect in a powerful manner."

The TVC features D'Souza rushing down her house and tripping over the staircase. A bar of Perk slips out of her hand and falls on the ground and breaks into multiple pieces. D'Souza too falls and splits into multiple D'Souza's. The little ones then run around catching Perk Poppers.

Besides the TVC, outdoor, Internet and radio will be used as support mediums for the campaign.
