MUMBAI: CNN International has elevated Kunal Bajaj to account director-sales for the West and South India region.

Prior to this, Bajaj was senior account manager at CNN International.

In his new capacity, Bajaj will be based in Mumbai and will report to sales director - India and South Asia Sonali Chatterjee.

As account director, Bajaj will be responsible for managing a team that will work alongside other companies targeting global consumers across CNN’s on-air, online and mobile platforms.

Bajaj joined CNN in 2006 as associate account manager.
