TNS unveils new global management team

MUMBAI: Subsequent to its recent merger with Research International, TNS (the global market information and insight group) today announced its new senior global management team.

The new team will be responsible for supervising the development of the newly merged business alongside TNS chairman Bob Meyers and CEO Pedro Ros who will handle its day-to-day management.

TNS has appointed Mike Gettle as the CFO/COO. Prior to this, he was the CFO of Millward Brown. He will be supporting Pedro Ros and will also be a part of the integration committee responsible for TNS' merger into the Kantar group. He is supported by David Errington who is now TNS' global commercial director.

Jamie Hall will head the ALM region as CEO Asia Pacific, Latin America and Middle East & Africa (ALM). Hall will be supported by Heather Payne as TNS regional director for Korea, Japan, China and Taiwan. Payne will also be responsible for TNS' international research centre and combined operations in Hong Kong and Singapore.

In the US, David Kieselstein will be CEO North America. He will be working with Bridget Armstrong who will become executive VP consumer sector head US. In Europe, Judith Passingham retains her role as CEO Europe and Denis Delmas is deputy MD Europe. Delmas will also be responsible for global marketing communications.

Kirk Ward moves from being Research International's global product development director to TNS' development and integration director. He will be responsible for renewing and developing TNS' overall client offer.

Also taking positions on TNS' senior global management team is Stephen Factor who retains his role as the global head of the consumer sector and will be responsible for the TNS global account programme.

Jordi Ferrer becomes strategy and corporate development director. Furthermore, Research International's former group human resources director Catherine is now global head of human resources for the merged business.

TNS CEO Pedro Ros says, "I am very excited by the combined wealth of talent we have within the merged business. Both Research International and TNS bring different strengths to the table in terms of their solutions and research insight."
