PepsiCo launches fizzier Pepsi in AP; Ram Charan to endorse brand

NEW DELHI: Beverage company PepsiCo India has rolled out its local varient fizzier Pepsi in Andhra Pradesh.

Says, PepsiCo India executive-marketing Punita Lal, "We have introduced the fizzier in Andhra Pradesh to connect well with the local taste and preferences of the Andhra youth. The tagline ‘Jorunna kotha Pepsi, jorunna Youngistaan’ aptly describes Pepsi in its new avataar.”

The company has also roped in Tollywood actor Ram Charan Tej to endorse the same.

“With Ram Charan Tej, we are confident that we will be able to strengthen the brand’s stature and local connect in Andhra like never before,” adds Lal.

The fizzier Pepsi launch will be supported by a 360 degree campaign comprising television, outdoor, print, modern trade and trial generations. The campaign will be spread across all metros and smaller towns in Andhra Pradesh.

The company will be roll out a TVC featuring Ram Charan and Deepika Padukone on 23 March.

Created by JWT creative director Soumitra Karnik, Sachin Das Burma and Mark Samuel, the TVC has been produced by Film Farm.
