MUMBAI:
Red FM today announced the 'Bingo! RED FM Bajaate Raho Awards
2008' that felicitates the poorest performance in Bollywood,
Music, Cricket and Television industry.
Positioned
as 'Jisne aapka bajaaya ab uski bajaao!' the awards help in
getting back at those who tortured people with their performance.
Red
FM COO Abraham Thomas says, "The awards will be held
on 27 March at Chitrakoth Ground, Andheri."
Like
last year, the awards will be aired on TV this year too, but
Thomas didn't reveal the name of the TV channel which would
telecast it.
Thomas
added that the awards would be supported by a 360 degree media
campaign. "The drive has already started on the radio
this week. This would be followed by interactive on-ground
activities in malls and multiplexes in Mumbai, Delhi and Kolkata
this weekend. These activities are aimed at encouraging people
to vote for the nominations," says Thomas.
The
event will also be promoted widely on the web and the mobile
phone.
Listeners can vote for the nominees through SMS till 24 March.
