NEW DELHI: Allied Media, which has bagged the media duties of 'Nomarks' from the Ozone Ayurvedics stable, is planning to use new format superstores such as Big Bazaar and Vishal mega Mart as alternate media platforms for the brand activation of the skincare product.

The size of the media account is pegged at Rs 200 million.

Says Allied Media COO Shripad Kulkarni, "Though television will remain our prime focus to propagate the brand's positioning, we will use new format superstores such as Big Bazaar for brand activation. The activation process will be further synchronized with various radio stations."

Since Ozone Group is also looking at establishing themselves as skincare specialist targeting women from the upper middle class, Allied Media also plans to tie up with various women's magazines through counseling activities as part of the repositioning process.

Says Ozone Group of Companies CMD SC Sehgal, "Increasing competition, current market scenario and constant change in demand of consumers has instigated a change which is inevitable. This, indeed, is an inflexion point for the company and the brand, when we will revisit our marketing and media strategies, to reinforce our position of a 'skin care specialist'."

The Nomarks skin care range includes creams, face pack, face wash, soaps, lotions, scrubs and lip balms.
