Manchester Football Club appoints Pullan as marketing officer

NEW DELHI: Manchester City Football Club has roped in David Pullan as brand and marketing officer.

Prior to this, Pullan was with Aegis Media as president - Isobar global client management.

In his new capacity, Pullan will report to chief executive Garry Cook and will concentrate on growing the club's supporter base. Pullan will work with the club marketing director Mat Lowery.

Pullan brings with him approximately 20 years of experience in media strategy, brands and marketing. He has held various positions at McKinsey & Company, MTV, the BBC, Bertlesmann and Emap's FHM Worldwide.

Manchester City Football Club was acquired in September 2008 by Abu Dhabi United Group.
