MUMBAI: The Botswana Tourism Board has decided to launch its new television campaign on BBC World News this month in a bid to a reach out to audiences across Europe, Africa and North America. It is for the first time that the tourism board will advertise on this platform.

The 30-second spot, produced by Number One Films, has been created to display the diversity of destinations, activities and culture on offer in Botswana.

The campaign will run for eight weeks on BBC World News and will feature footages of an array of wildlife and scenery.

Botswana Tourism Board chief executive officer Myra Sekgororoane says, “With this new campaign, the Botswana Tourism Board aims to showcase the magic of our country to the discerning, international traveller. We chose to advertise on BBC World News due to the upscale, global audience it reaches, who we trust and enjoy visiting us.”
