IAA India Chapter launches 'Lighting a Billion Lives' campaign

MUMBAI: The India Chapter of the International Advertising Association (IAA) has rolled out a public service campaign to mobilize funds for Dr Rajendra Pachauri's 'Lighting a Billion Lives' movement.

The programme's advertising campaign has been conceptualised by Water, Mudra's brand strategy and design consultancy unit.

The initiative was inaugurated by Dr Farooq Abdullah, The Energy & Resources Institute (TERI) director general Dr Rajendra Pachauri, and IAA India Chapter president and NDTV Media CEO Raj Nayak.

The campaign will be initially run across the print and television media platforms.

Said Dr Pachauri, "The advertising community's initiative through this public service campaign for 'Lighting a Billion Lives' is a passionate example of the role that a common man can play in changing his outlook towards energy conservation."
