Warner to showcase 11 shows at Comic-Con International

MUMBAI: Warner Bros. Television Group (WBTVG) returns to Comic-Con International: San Diego in 2009 with a lineup featuring 11 shows.

These will be showcased in panel sessions, screenings, media appearances and autograph signings throughout the convention. WBTVG will also be launching a Con-related website at www.TheWB.com/ComicCon, coming in July. Comic Con takes place from 23-26 July.

Selected stars and creators who will attend include The Big Bang Theory's Johnny Galecki, Jim Parsons Garden State, executive producer Chuck Lorre Two and a Half, Eastwick stars Rebecca Romijn, Lindsay Price, Jaime Ray Newman. Fringe star Anna Torv, Josh Jackson, John Noble, Human Target stars Mark Valley, Chi McBride, Jackie Earle Haley.

Past Life stars Kelli Giddish, Nicholas Bishop, Ravi Patel and executive producer David Hudgins will also be attending.

Warner Bros. Entertainment (WBE) will once again have a nearly 3,000-square foot, two-storey booth on the convention floor.

Lego Rock Band offers fans the chance to jump onto the Lego-inspired stage and be amongst the first to play the upcoming game from Warner Bros. Interactive Entertainment, TT Games, the Lego Group, Harmonix and MTV Games.

One can also get Harry Potter giveaway items
that include autograph signings, photo opportunities, game demonstrations and much more!

There will also be special sneak peek pilot screenings. WBTV and Comic-Con will host a three-hour screening of the pilot episodes of the new mid-season, action-adventure series Human Target. This is based upon a DC Comics graphic novel.

Then there is a re-imagining of the mini series V. It will also showcase a new drama titled The Vampire Diaries that is based on the best-selling book series by LJ Smith.
