MUMBAI:
Rediffusion Y&R president Rohit Misra has put in his papers. He was elevated
to the position in February 2009 to take over Mahesh Chauhan's responsibilities
who was promoted to group CEO.
Confirming the
development, Rediffusion Y&R group CEO Chauhan said, "As of now I will
be taking over the additional responsibilities. Currently, we are not looking
at any replacements."
Prior to taking
over as president, Misra was CEO for Rediffusion Y&R's
Sri Lanka operations, a position he took up in 2008 to partner
the launch of Airtel in that market.
