NEW DELHI: Advertising agency VCCP (Vallance Carruthers Coleman Priest) has bagged the creative mandate for Muller Corners, the yoghurt brand from Muller Dairy UK.

The size of the account is estimated to be at £5 million.

VCCP bagged the account following a pitch against the incumbent agency TBWA/London and The Red Brick Road.

Says Muller marketing and R&D director Chris McDonough, “Muller had an incredibly strong year in 2008 and in partnership with TBWA, has produced some great advertising. However with the business growing our demands have also grown and thus there was need to appoint a second advertising agency.”

VCCP will work across above-the-line advertising for all 18 Muller Corner yoghurt varieties, while TBWA will continue to remain as the incumbent agency on the rest of the businesses.

“TBWA will continue as the key strategic partner on the majority of the Muller business,” added McDonough.

TBWA secured the advertising for the entire range of Muller brands in 2004, following a pitch against Abbott Mead Vickers BBDO, HHCL/Red Cell and M&C Saatchi.

The whole Muller account, including Muller Light and Muller Rice, is pegged at £20 million.
