NEW DELHI:Euro RSCG Edge, the digital and direct shop from the house of Havas Media Group, has appointed Greg Johnson as president.

Prior to this, Johnson was executive vice president and chief marketing officer First Marblehead Corp, a financial services firm.

Speaking on the appointment, Euro RSCG Edge CEO Steve Netzley said, "Johnson's ability to deliver integrated marketing solutions to top-tier brands is unparalleled. In a time of economic turmoil, cost efficiency is critical for businesses, and Johnson will be integral in delivering the ROI that clients count on with Euro RSCG Edge."

In his new capacity, Johnson will work closely with managements across all six offices of the agency including Portland, Salt Lake City, Los Angeles, San Diego, Boston and London with an aim to provide a new level of senior strategic leadership for the network.

With approximately 20 years of experience in marketing strategy and business development, Johnson has worked for brands like Vonage, Royal Caribbean International and Fidelity Investments.
