NEW
DELHI: Carat has bagged the media planning and buying duties
of Vdoafone UK.
The size of the
account is estimated to be about £70 million. The account will include TV,
press and online. Carat will take over the business on 1 April, 2009.
Prior
to Carat, OMD was the incumbent agency.
Says

Charlie Smith, OMD has been a great partner but the
decision followed a thorough process.
Meanwhile,
WPP-owned Kinetic will retain outdoor media planning and buying while the search
account will be handled by Greenlight.
