MUMBAI: Lintas Media Group has announced senior level management changes while announcing the appointment of Amit Ray as president with specific charge of the ITC Collective and the Kolkata Collective.

NP Sathyamurthy has been promoted to president and chief operating officer. He will be in charge of the group’s western region operations and the digital collaborative. Sathyamurthy was earlier joint president of Mumbai operations.

Sudha Natarajan has taken over as president and chief operating officer in charge of the group’s Northern operations in addition to its southern operations. She is based out of Delhi.

Says Lintas Media Group Chairperson and CEO Lynn de Souza, “Sathyamurthy did a commendable job in leading all the Mumbai based collectives and the digital collaborative in 2008. Under his leadership, the group achieved new business gains, and delivery of excellent output on all existing client relationships including Idea Cellular, the Bajaj group, the financial collective, all the clients in the Mumbai Collective, and with Pinstorm.”

Adding further de Souza says, “Natarajan will take on the tremendous challenges that lay in the Delhi market, while continuing to lead the Bangalore and Chennai collectives. She has led the ITC account for several years and has been responsible for its growth into one of the largest clients of the Group.”

Ray will come on board in February and will be based out of Kolkata. Earlier he was heading Mudra’s OMS before moving on to Percept and BAG films.

Announcing the appointment of Ray as president, Lynn said: “Ray is a media veteran and one of the best strategic minds in the business. We are delighted to have Ray on board. He will be in charge of the ITC Collective and the Kolkata Collective. We are sure that with his experience and knowledge, the ITC Collective will grow even further.”

Chief planning officer Premjeet Sodhi will now focus fully on planning, leading the Planning Sciences Collaborative, based in Delhi, and work as a partner to Natarajan for all new business initiatives and existing client relationships in Delhi.
