TBWA\ India wins creative and media mandate for Nissan Motors

NEW DELHI: TBWA\ India has bagged the creative and media mandate of Nissan Motors India and Hover Automotive India (HAI), Nissan's marketing and sales arm in India.

Says TBWA\ India Group CEO Shiv Sethuraman said, "This is a very important and prestigious win for us. The opportunity to partner one of the worlds most iconic and Disruptive brands doesn't come along everyday. This was a hard fought pitch and we are delighted that NMIPL and HAI chosen us. We are looking forward to rolling up our sleeves and getting some great work done."

TBWA\ India will handle both advertising and media buying for the entire range of Nissan passenger vehicles in India including the X Trail and Teana vehicles.

"Nissan has aggressive plans for the Indian market and we were looking for a communication partner who could help us build our brands creatively and effectively. TBWA\ demonstrated disruptive thinking combined with great creative solutions that we believe will give the Nissan brand an edge going forward. Hover Automotive India (HAI), our marketing and sales arm in India will be working closely with TBWA to develop the launch plans and marketing plans for our current and future models," added NMIPL COO and MD K Tokuyama.

TBWA\India clients include Standard Chartered Bank, VISA, Bajaj Allianz, Nivea, adidas, Playstation, Planet M, GE Money Wizard, TATA Gold Plus, Polaris, Dabur Consumer Care, Procall, Apple Computer, Pedigree, Michelin, National Geographic/History Channel, Henkel, Malayala Manorama, Zandu, Samsonite, MasterFoods and SIA.
