NEW DELHI: English
News Channel Times Now has launched its new print campaign with an aim to encapsulate
the big events that shaped news in 2008.
A series of six
ads that will contextualise the key events in 2008 will be released in print till
the third week of January.
Says Times Now
senior vice president - marketing and sales Sandeep Sharma, "The past year
has seen events that have redefined television journalism as we know it. The advertising
campaign depicts this aspect. The campaign is a continuation of the proposition
of taking the high ground on news."
While
one of the print campaigns highlights the US elections and is titled, "When
the nation voted for a change, a new leader emerged", another one based on
the Kashmir elections reads - "When democracy was reaffirmed, a new leader
was found".
