DELHI: Coca-Cola has brought down the number of agencies working on its European
business from 20 to four.
The beverage company
has cut down the number of advertising agencies as a part of its strategy to initiate
more efficient marketing campaigns.
The four agencies
to handle Coca-Cola's advertising accounts will be Wieden & Kennedy (Amsterdam),
Mother (London), McCann Erickson (Spain) and Senior Rushmore (Madrid).
By
trimming the number of agencies it uses, the soft drinks giant is also likely
to save money on agency fees.
According
to Nielsen Media Research, Coca-Cola spends in excess of £100 million a
year on advertising across Europe on its red brand.
