NEW DELHI: DIY retailer B&Q will be reviewing its advertising account after six years of association with ad agency JWT.

The size of the account is estimated to be worth £40 million.

Says B&Q director Brand Advertising Warren Scarr, “As everyone knows the retail marketplace is extremely competitive, and we owe it to our staff and shareholders to ensure that we are working with an agency that best meets our needs in both the current environment and in the long run.”

The retailer presently is drawing a list of short listed agencies that will be called for the pitch alongwith AAR and is expected to make an appointment by one or two months.

And while the review is being conducted, the retailer has appointed Rapier to a strategic project.
