Pix launches on-ground event to promote Hollywood films

MUMBAI: Multi Screen Media's English film channel Pix offers an opportunity to test ones knowledge on Hollywood movies. It has launched an on-ground event, 'Hollywood Pix Your Brain' across Mumbai, Delhi, Bangalore, Kolkata, Pune and Hyderabad. The contest will continue till the end of March and is being positioned as the place to be for all those who want to test their knowledge on Hollywood movies and trivia.

To participate in the contest, one can simply walk into any of the contest venues situated at prominent hang outs such as malls, multiplexes, colleges and corporate parks or pre-register on www.pixtelevision.com.

There are prizes to take home such as iPods, Cyber Shot cameras, MP3 Walkmans, Mobile Phones, and lots of other merchandise from the channel.

Pix business head Sunder Aaron says, "'Hollywood Pix Your Brain is an on-ground initiative to provide a platform for Hollywood movie lovers. Below the line activities are critical to branding for television channels. PIX will be the first to launch an on-ground event around Hollywood films, and the aim is to strengthen the association between PIX and Hollywood."

In Mumbai one can catch the quiz at 1 March Inorbit, Malad and on 8 March at Shopper's Stop Juhu.

Pix had organised a contest for media houses in Mumbai, Delhi, Kolkata, Bangalore and Hyderabad. The quiz contest called Fiama Di Wills had urged participants to predict the winners of the Academy Awards.
