MUMBAI: The Television Bureau of Advertising (TVB) in the US will hold its Spring board of directors meeting on 21 April during the 2009 National Association of Broadcasters (Nab) Show in Las Vegas.

TVB president Chris Rohrs says, "We are in an era where content delivery is constantly changing due to the advent of new technology. Holding our board meeting in conjunction with the NAB Show allows our members to view, first-hand, the latest developments impacting the media industry today."

Nab executive VP conventions and business operations Chris Brown says, "We’re looking forward to the major presence TVB will have at this year’s NAB Show. Both the advertising and broadcasting communities recognize the unique networking opportunities and exciting exchange of ideas that take place on the content-driven floor of the world’s largest electronic media show".

Nab and TVB will jointly produce "Reinvention: Moving Television Forward," a session that will feature a panel discussion among television executives. During the session, leaders in the television industry will explore how traditional revenue and programming practices might be revamped to ensure that television is successful in today’s personalised entertainment environment.

The TVB board of directors is the latest group of broadcast executives to announce their participation in the NAB Show. Last week, show organizers announced that the NBC Affiliate Board of Directors will also hold meetings during the NAB show.
