BANGALORE: Riding on the success that the Landmark group’s international high street fashion value store brand Splash witnessed in Hyderabad, the company is eyeing the local media including television and radio as a major platform for 'Splash' brand promotions.

Splash plans to create fashions shows as part of their promotional activities, and then have them air on regional channels and local cable networks.

“We have had some measure of success in attracting walk-ins through the local and regional networks at Hyderabad and plan to follow the same pattern in Bangalore and other places where we launch new Splash stores,” informed Lifestyle ( a Landmark Group company) vp-marketing Shankar Suryanarayan while speaking with www.indiantelevision.com.

The campaigns, Suryanarayan noted, will be further supplemented by advertisements in magazines, print media and outdoor. Splash's media account in the Middle East is handled by Media Edge while in India the mandate remains with JWT.

According to sources at Landmark, the annual advertising budget earmarked per Splash store is in the region of Rs 4-6 million.

The brand currently has 80 stores with 1.3 million square feet of retail space in nine countries. By 2012, Spash plans to expand its footprints to 25 countries with a store count of 125.
