Neo Sports' Manocha opts out; joins OOH firm Live Media

MUMBAI: From sports selling to selling the outdoors. That's the career move Neo Sports senior VP ad revenue Sunil Manocha is making.

He has hoppend on to out-of-home (OOH) company Live Media as senior vice-president. Replacing him at Neo Sports is Neo Sports' Raju Udupa who has been designated senior VP ad revenue.

In his new capacity, Manocha will be responsible for setting up an all India network for the company along with building a strong sales team.

During his stint at Neo, Manocha was tasked with growing revenues for the two channels - Neo Cricket and Neo Sports.

Manocha had rejoined the cricket broadcaster in 2006 after spending a year at Mindshare in Sir Lanka. Prior to that, he had spent nearly 15 years at Nimbus in various functions ranging from ad sales and acquisitions to business development and television programming.

Live Media, which started operations in 2006, has 2000 screens across the country. The locations include quick service restaurants like McDonalds and corporate offices. The company positions itself as being a captive audience network.
