MUMBAI: Idea Cellular, which has tied up with the Mumbai Indians IPL franchise, has announced the direct numbers of the star cricketers Sachin Tendulkar (+919702900510); Zaheer Khan (+919702900534) and Harbhajan Singh (+919702900503).

As reported earlier, the cellular operator had unveiled a gateway for its customers and other cricket fans to help them connect with Mumbai Indians’ stars through a massive campaign.

Cricket enthusiasts can call and SMS their stars, give them tips and suggestions, wish them good luck and give other messages on the phone.

Idea has opened the phone lines of players’ for all Idea subscribers as well as non-subscribers, starting 20 April. The lines will remain open 24x7, till the time Mumbai Indians are in action in the ongoing IPL2.

Additionally, fans will get to view their message with their names on large LCD screens placed at various locations across multiple Indian cities. Fans can also find their compatibility with their favourite MI player, based on the mobile number.

Idea is also launching contests such as – ‘Roaming IPL Offer’; ‘Mumbai Indians & You’ contest; and ‘Meet & Greet with Mumbai Indians’ – details of which are available on its website. Contest winners will stand a chance to win free tickets to the T-20 matches of Mumbai Indians in South Africa, meet the players in South Africa and to walk away with Mumbai Indians merchandize.
