MUMBAI: The Guangzhou Asian Games Organising Committee has roped in consumer electronics major TCL India Holdings as the official sponsor for the 2010 Asian Games.

As part of the sponsorship deal, the company has rolled out the promotional initiative "Road of Asia" to promote the event in India.

Says TCL India Holdings president James Li, "In the past, TCL has been associated with prestigious sports events like Olympics 2008 and Women Chinese Tennis. We are now proud to be associated with Asian Games 2010 and look forward to many such events."
