NEW DELHI: IPL franchise Kings XI Punjab has roped in Typhoo Tea as its tenth sponsor.

The franchise, owned by Ness Wadia, Mohit Burman, Karan Paul and Preity Zinta, has also partnered with online store eBay for merchandise sale.

Says Apeejay Surrendra Group chairman and co-owner Kings XI Punjab Karan Paul, “The synergies between Typhoo and Kings XI Punjab are many. Both are energetic and dynamic and through this partnership I am confident that we as a team will be a force to reckon with in season two of the Indian Premier League.”

Meanwhile, the Mohali team has partnered with e-commerce website, eBay to sell its merchandise online. These include car flags, fan capes, cheering sticks, optical caps, expandable banners, mugs, badges and collectibles for fans to drape their desks or homes and even their cars.

“We are excited to partner with Kings XI Punjab to power e-commerce for their official website. eBayer, across the world, can avail of a wide range of cool merchandise, autographed memorabilia and celebrity experiences. Cricket fever continues with eBay,” adds eBay India senior manager – Pop Culture Deepa Thomas.
