DELHI: Publicis Groupe has bagged the creative duties for Hewlett-Packards
(HP) personal computers division across Europe, the Middle East and Africa.
Prior to this,
McCann Erickson was the incumbent agency.
Publicis
won the account following a pitch that involved McCann, BBDO and Y&R.
Publicis Worldwide
chief operating officer Richard Pinder says, Like any client relationship
it goes through ups and downs, and we are delighted now to be expanding the relationship
across our home territories.
Publicis
Groupe will handle the above-the-line advertising which will be divided amongst
its subsidiaries. Publicis Modem will handle digital communications while the
groups creative agency Saatchi & Saatchi Geneva will take the lead in
advertising duties.
