NEW DELHI: WPP-owned out-of-media (OOH) outfit Kinetic (UK) has elevated Steve Ridley to global chief operating officer.

Prior to this, Ridley was chief executive officer Kinetic, USA.

Ridley will now be based in the United States with an aim to give a wider global emphasis to the management of Kinetic. He will be responsible for broadening the agencies clientele.

Says Kinetic global CEO Eric Newnham, “It is time for Kinetic to capitalise on all the hard work. The position we have developed across the world is unprecedented and I am delighted that Steve will be joining me to help develop the business even further.”

Meanwhile, Kinetic EMEA CEO David Payne will be transferred to the United States within the next few months to take on as chief executive officer of the company's US office.

In the meantime, Newnham will temporarily take over the additional responsibility of kinetic EMEA as chief executive officer.
