MUMBAI: HT Media-owned Fever FM Delhi, the official radio partner of GMR's Delhi Daredevils for the second time, is leaving no stone unturned to propagate the team. In a bid to extend its support to the IPL franchise, the radio station has rolled out various on-air and on-ground initiatives.

As part of its activity plans, Fever FM will unveil the DJ Farrar programme next week. One of the DJ's (RJ's referred to as DJ's at Fever FM) will roam the entire city of Delhi on a Hero Honda bike loaded with Fever FM goodies. Clues about his whereabouts will be given to listeners on air. The listener who spots the DJ and reveals the password will get the bike and the goodies.

"We are finalising the contest date for the treasure hunt," says Fever FM station head (Delhi and Mumbai) Neeraj Chaturvedi.

The station will also host another contest wherein 11 winners will be given the opportunity to fly to South Africa to see the Delhi Daredevils match. "We are also considering involving our listeners in Bangalore in this initiative, but that's tentative right now," divulges Chaturvedi.

As part of the 'Wish The Captain' contest, 14 listeners will get a chance to wish luck to Virendra Sehwag, captain of Delhi Daredevils, before each home match. "If the team goes to the semi-finals and finals, we will give opportunity to two more listeners," adds Chaturvedi.

The station will also organise the 'Ghar Ghar Mein Balle Balle' contest where the DJ's will go and see the match at a listener's house.

The rest of the Fever stations (Mumbai, Kolkata and Bangalore), meanwhile, will also host contests around the IPL covering all the eight teams.

Fever FM has partnered with Prime Media's Highveld 94.7 FM in South Africa which has its presence in Cape Town to get the latest updates on the IPL matches. "We have been associated with Highveld for a long time. This is a symbiotic relationship in which Highveld will be providing us with all the updates around the IPL," says Chaturvedi.
