People Interactive outsources ad inventory to DGTL Media

MUMBAI: People Interactive Ltd, part of People Group, has partnered with DGTL Media to outsource the online ad-sales duties for all websites owned by the company.

As part of the deal, DGTL Media’s Admagnet Select will be responsible for managing ad sales of the sites such as Shaadi.com, Makaan.com, Fropper.com, Astrolife.com and Shaaditimes.com.

 

People Interactive claims that though its revenues continue to come from subscription and listing oriented business models, over the last two years it has also managed to develop a strong ad sales business on its various websites.

People Interactive currently works with over 100 large and medium-sized advertisers such as Nokia, Airtel, Raymonds and Tanishq amongst others, and has a national sales force working out of Mumbai, Delhi and Bangalore.

The company now aims to grow the revenue stream in a focussed manner. All ad sales for People Interactive will now be handled by DGTL Media through the same team that was working at People Interactive, providing continuity as well as larger advertising opportunities for People Interactive clients.

DGTL Media co-founder Ratish Nair added, “We are happy to partner with People Interactive to take revenue generation from ad sales to the next level. We will be using some really high level targeting and innovative advertising options in order to ensure advertiser delight. The fact that the audience on Shaadi.com and other People Interactive sites is transactional and very active audience adds to the premium value of the inventory.”
