NEW DELHI: BBC is reducing its marketing budget of £100 million by 25 per cent.

The BBC reduced its spend on marketing, communications and audiences for the new financial year, at the start of April.

The reduction in budget will affect BBC's on-air promotional campaigns, print and billboard advertising, cinema advertising and corporate events.

Earlier this month, BBC had put the launch of ad for BBC Radio 1 on hold. Meanwhile current TV ad campaigns for BBC include an ad for BBC Blast.
